"internet stopped working" message when i play games on line, such as alchemy, bookworm, text twist?

when i access certain games on line, such those mentioned above i receive this message|||try unpluging your modem for 30 secs and plugging back in and letting it fire up before trying to go online again also try the connection to and from the modem as well.
